At the SANRAL SAICE Awards 2024, Maanda Ramutumbu, a leader in operations transformation & engineering, shared insights that highlight the pivotal role of civil engineers in shaping the infrastructure that supports our communities.

With over 15 years of experience in asset-intensive industries, Maanda Ramutumbu currently serves as the Associate Director of Operations Transformation at Deloitte Africa & the Executive Head of the IoT Centre of Excellence Verticals at Vodacom. His career has spanned major roles in power generation, where he has been involved in coal & renewable energy capital projects, operations & maintenance, & outage management, making a significant impact on SA’s energy landscape
